This Booking & Cancellation Policy outlines scheduling, payment, and attendance expectations for speech, language, and auditory processing evaluations provided in Brooklyn, New York and the surrounding NYC area.

Scheduling & Payment for Evaluations

Comprehensive speech and language evaluations, including auditory processing and language-based learning assessments, are reserved in advance and require full payment at the time of booking.

Booking secures dedicated clinical time for your child, including evaluation planning, administration, scoring, and analysis.

Multi-session evaluations are scheduled as a single evaluation package. The full evaluation fee applies regardless of the number of sessions completed.

Rescheduling Appointments

Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled appointment time.

This allows the appointment time to be offered to another child or family seeking speech therapy or evaluation services in Brooklyn and NYC.

Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may not be accommodated and are subject to the cancellation policy below.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, are non-refundable.

This policy reflects the time reserved specifically for your child, including preparation, test materials, and scheduling that cannot be reassigned on short notice.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may impact the ability to complete all components of the evaluation.

Scope of This Policy

This Booking & Cancellation Policy applies to scheduling, payment, and attendance for evaluation services.

It is separate from, and does not replace, the website’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Clinical services, including speech therapy and evaluations, are governed by separate intake, consent, and evaluation agreements, which are provided as part of the clinical onboarding process.
